Murano is world-renowned for its glass-making tradition, home to numerous furnaces and workshops where you can admire master glassblowers at work creating incredible works of art in blown glass. Burano is famous for its colourful fishermen's houses and handmade lace-making. You can wander Burano's charming streets, admiring the brightly painted houses and visiting the lace shops, where you can watch skilled women create intricate traditional lace.
